Every traveller leaves a five-star review, in four languages, after walking the real Jaipur with us.

Come alone. Never feel alone.
What we do
Craft and slow travel under one roof, led by someone who has lived both.
Most asked for Early morning, half day
The city before the crowds: the flower market at first light, the temples, the morning puja ceremony. You see Jaipur the way locals live it, not the classic sightseeing route.
Ask about this
Day or evening
Street food and local markets, with addresses Eva has tested herself. She takes you to the places she trusts, so you can simply enjoy it.
Multi-day, on request
Multi-day tours across Rajasthan and beyond: the stepwells of Dausa, a valley tour, slow routes off the beaten path. Built around small groups and what you want to see.
2h experience
Stamp your own piece of fabric, hands in the colour, the traditional way. Eva learned this craft from local artisans in Jaipur.
On request
For designers and makers: Eva supports your collection from sizing to price to production follow-up in India. A service distinct from the travel experiences.

Our story
I am Eva, and I grew up in Rome. I studied fashion design at the Academy of Fine Arts and specialized in textile design, which has always been my real passion. A scholarship took me to Lyon to experiment with tie-dye, then a master in sustainable fashion opened up the world of natural dye and certifications. I am endlessly curious, so I took every exchange I could: Slovakia for textile, eight months in Taiwan among technical fabrics and factories. Wherever I went, I looked for the local craft.
Then I moved to Germany and worked as a product manager in womenswear and menswear. I learned the industry and fast fashion from the inside, but it was not for me.
It was not for me, I felt like in a cage, the environment was really toxic. I always had a passion for handicraft, that was the reality. So I decided to move to Jaipur and learn about the traditional handicraft of this amazing country.
In Jaipur, volunteering in a guest house, another passion came back. I started using my languages and taking travellers on walking tours in the early morning: the flower market, the temples, the puja ceremony. People loved seeing the city in a different way. Then came the food tours, with the addresses I trust. Slowly, an idea grew: I could take people on real journeys across India, to the places I had come to know.
And because I went to Jaipur for the craft, I kept learning block print and natural dye, and started inviting travellers to practise with me. Then designers began asking for help with their collections, sizing and production. So I added that too.
That mix is exactly what IndiAmo Travels is. The name is Italian: India, "amo" (I love), and "andiamo" (let's go). India, I love it, let's go. What I offer is rare: textile craft and slow, human travel under one roof, led by someone who has lived both. Not the postcard India, but the real one: the markets, the dyes, the food, the people. An experience, I have always believed, is worth more than anything else.
My journey, in the end, is a mix of handicraft and tourism, it's all together.

Their words
If you want to actually see the country, not just the tourist traps, the food tour was a total game-changer. A guide who feels more like a local friend with a ton of passion.
We were worried it might be just another typical tourist tour, but instead it was rich in local experiences and genuine contact with the real India.
I chose IndiAmo because I was looking for something different. Eva is a person with great empathy and sensitivity, always putting people at the center. Great organization, excellent communication, and a lot of flexibility.
Something more authentic than a standard tour: genuine, well thought out, and very human. Eva was always available and made everything easy.
Super food tour, durant lequel j'ai pu découvrir de nouvelles saveurs autant sucrées que salées. Très diversifié, merci !
Traveling in India with Eva was simply fantastic, going beyond the usual tourist itineraries. Always organized yet flexible, she makes you feel part of the trip.
Truly kind, cheerful, and thoughtful. Thanks to her, I tried authentic Indian street food. You can feel the authentic connection she's building with this amazing country.
Journal
Notes on authentic India, food, craft and slow travel.
Discover a different side of Jaipur on this early morning flower market walk. Before the city fully wakes up, wander through colourful markets filled with marigolds and fresh blooms, visit local temples, enjoy a cup of chai among the flower traders, and experience the Pink City through the eyes of a local. It is a unique opportunity to see the traditions, rituals and daily life that most visitors miss.
Read the blogHow Eva built a Jaipur street food tour around places she has tested herself, so you can taste the real city without the worry.
CraftI lost my job in fashion at the end of 2024 and ended up in Jaipur, watching artisans print fabric by hand. This is the story behind the block print and natural dye workshops at IndiAmo Travels, in my own words.
Good to know
Every experience is led by Eva Bertelli, the founder, an Italian textile designer who lives in Jaipur. She speaks English, Italian, French and German, and switches languages to make you feel at ease.
Yes. The food tours only use places Eva has tested herself and trusts. As one traveller put it, the food tour was a total game-changer. You eat where locals eat, safely.
The fastest way is WhatsApp at +39 334 753 6288. You can also use the contact form. We reply in English, Italian, French or German, usually within a day.
All of them. Eva welcomes solo travellers, including women travelling alone, small groups and families. Reviews repeatedly mention feeling safe, welcome and at home.
You work with your hands. In the block print workshop you ink and stamp your own fabric. In the natural dye workshop you dye it, from indigo to plant colour. You take your piece home. Eva learned both from local artisans in Jaipur.
Jaipur is the base. From there, experiences reach across Rajasthan and North India: the stepwells of Dausa, valley tours, multi-day journeys off the beaten path.
Experiences are built around what you want, so the best way to get a price is to message Eva on WhatsApp with your dates and ideas. She replies with a clear quote.
Yes. Beyond travel, Eva offers textile production consulting for designers and makers: sizing, pricing and production follow-up in India. It is a separate service from the travel experiences.
Tell Eva your dates and what you dream of seeing. She replies in your language, usually within a day.
